Ive been repeatedly getting crashes when im in a mission, heist, race, etc. My rig is mid to high end, and I even set the graphics to modest levels, but I cant seem to isolate the issue, besides the possible issues with other players it always happens when in a game with others or when everyone on the free mode map is nearby.

The nature of this crash seems rare, at least on my end. Out of 76 hours in gta 5 online that I've played, I've probably had this crash 6 or 7 times total. Removing the d3d DLL files in the GTA V folder is interesting, because this is an official "workaround" that Rockstar themselves give you if you contact them about this issue. The two d3d DLL files are HLSL compilers that handle shaders, and so it is reasonable to assume that the ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT crash might be related to shaders.
